In the wake of the biggest one-day races and monuments in cycling, the "NORDIC Grinder" is set in the world. This race is our answer to a truly Nordic "NEW MONUMENT" within Gravel cycling.
Are you into gravel, small winding roads, wide open spaces, and beautiful Danish nature?
Then you will feel at home in this event, which is said to be one of the most beautiful and spectacular race experiences in the Nordics.
NORDIC Grinder is a challenge, but also a big "GRAVEL PARTY" that will give all participants an unforgettable experience. Find your inner "GRVL Grinder" and start your preparations today!
About the course
The routes are a good mix of gravel, paths, and asphalt. The routes are laid out "straight out" so that you are primarily challenged on your endurance and not your technical ability.
200km +/- 1700hm with up to 70% grus.
130km +/- 1200hm with up to 70% grus.
80km +/- 700hm with up to 70% grus.
40km +/- 300hm with up to 60% grus
200KM / 130KM /80km / 40km.
Location: Vejle Denmark.
The routes are made public approx. 7 days before the start. All routes are run as "GPS runs" you must be able to find your way yourself, there will only be a few signs out on the route.
All distances and start groups riding with a timing chip.
All participants who complete the race will receive a small NORDIC Grinder "recognition" to commemorate the race and the achievement.
There will also be a "post-race meal" for all participants in the finish area, as well as something nice and cold to drink!

130 km "NORDIC GRVL Grinder" Nordic Championship: 399 DKK

40 km "NORDIC GRVL Grinder": 199 DKK
Special Event Jersey
The specially designed Event Jersey from GOBIK can be purchased for DKK 199 (included in the 200 km distance). *Deadline for optional Jersey is 1/5-23.
The jersey can be purchased at the event for DKK 349 while stocks last.
Note: Your registration is binding and the entry fee will not be refunded if you are unable to participate. Likewise, it will not be possible to transfer your starting number to another event. However, you can transfer your start number to someone else if you are prevented from participating yourself.

10:00 - 10:30 Start for "Tour de kids" (For children between approx. 2-5 years)
12:00 Start of the 130km
13:00 Start of the 80km
13:30 Start of the 40km
16:00 Expected arrival of the first riders.
17:00 Live music (Mike Sullivan Band) Country Music.
22:00 Start & finish area closes down.

10:00 Hoppeborg + Vejle Fjord Festival opens
11:00 Social Ride "Recover the Hangover" 30 or 50km.
11:30 - 12:00 Start for the "Tour de Kids" (For children between approx. 2-5 years)
15:00 Vejle Fjord Festival closes.

Start - Finish - EXPO Area
The start, finish & EXPO area is taking place at Strandgade 69, 7100 Vejle.
You participate at your own risk.
Adventure Cycling is not responsible for any personal or material damage in connection with this event.
A bicycle helmet is mandatory for everyone. It's not allowed to use aero bars on your bike.
Changes can occur in the program. The final program can be expected no later than 1 month before the event is held.

Unfortunately, I don't have a single picture from the route, as the nose was in the track all the way.
But rumor has it that it was very very beautiful!
On the other hand, I can highlight that the 130 km route was amazing, and just what I understand about gravel!
EVERYTHING was well worked out, fantastic food in the rest zones and after the race, great finisher prizes, and entertainment - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
